On Monday, May 11, the Recycled Materials Group of the Functional Materials and Raw Materials Department, Aluminum and Copper Unit, Metals Division, held a “Completion Ceremony for the Aluminum Sash Recycling Plant” at Kuruma Shoji Co., Ltd. (Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture; hereinafter “Kuruma Shoji”). The ceremony was attended by Kuruma Shoji, our business partner, as well as equipment manufacturers and construction personnel who assisted with the plant’s launch. A reception was held that evening to foster closer ties among the participants. Through this project, we are leading the way in promoting the horizontal recycling of aluminum sash scrap using state-of-the-art crushing and sorting equipment, thereby contributing to the reduction of environmental impact—a key societal challenge. We will continue to engage in activities aimed at realizing a sustainable society.
