With cooperative ties with Shinsho subsidiaries in the ASEAN region, we are developing trilateral business boosted by the fast-growing Indian market, linking up other South Asian countries with the ASEAN region. In addition to dealing in our main products of steel, nonferrous metals and industrial machinery, we plan to stimulate new demand by expanding our export business.

As Shinsho Corporation Group’s sole base in Europe, we are importing and exporting steel, nonferrous metals, machinery and welding materials largely in European markets, as well as gathering information on European automakers, and undertaking surveys of markets and suppliers. We are aiming for global provision of high value-added products to supply European automakers and parts makers.

Shinsho Corporation considers the Middle East an important base from which to develop global business, and set up the Middle East Representative Office as a starting point for Kobe Steel Group globalization. We are currently actively seeking business partners in the region, as we open up new business ventures in steel, nonferrous metals, and machinery.
