On May 16, 2025, as part of our company and group companies' efforts to promote diversity and inclusion, we held an exchange meeting between global staff members of the Steel Unit and local staff members from our subsidiaries in China and Thailand at our Osaka headquarters.
A total of 22 participants (5 from China, 5 from Thailand, and 12 from Japan) attended the event. Representatives from each company presented on their respective businesses and challenges, followed by discussions on the potential for new cross-border business opportunities.
During the social gathering, participants enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere, reaffirming their sense of belonging to the same company despite working in different locations. They also pledged to reconnect in the future, with the potential to collaborate on projects together.
We will continue such initiatives to foster a corporate culture that values diversity, thereby strengthening our organizational capabilities. We remain committed to realizing our vision of being a trading company that supports tomorrow's manufacturing and contributes to society.
