Basic Policy

The Shinsho Group strives to enhance its corporate value based on its corporate philosophy, and believes that supporting manufacturing for future and contributing to society through its corporate activities will meet the expectations of all stakeholders, including countries and regions, shareholders, creditors, business partners, and Shinsho Corporation Group employees. Accordingly, the Group will work to further improve its tax governance and contribute to the development of society by fulfilling its tax obligations in a timely and appropriate manner.

1. Legal Compliance

We will pay the appropriate amount of taxes related to our business activities in the appropriate place of taxation in full compliance with the tax laws of the countries where we operate as well as relevant international tax rules.

2. Response to Tax Risk

We strive to instill and improve tax compliance awareness, provide pertinent training to employees, and improve their tax knowledge and practical skills. In addition, when the interpretation of tax laws is difficult, we consult with external experts and make prior inquiries to the tax authorities.

3. Tax Planning

We will not engage in transactions aimed at tax evasion that have no economic substance. Furthermore, we will strive to optimize tax costs by strictly complying with laws and regulations, eliminating double taxation and making appropriate use of tax incentives based on the tax system.

4. Relationship with Tax Authorities

We will maintain transparent and effective communication with tax authorities to further strengthen relationships of trust. We will cooperate and disclose information in response to requests from tax authorities.
