In 2021, general meetings used a participatory online format
Our shareholder meeting on June 25, 2021 adopted an online format both in consideration of shareholders living far away and as a countermeasure against the novel coronavirus. We implemented thorough infection prevention measures by voting on resolutions ahead of time and holding a participatory-style online meetings where council members had acrylic splash guards and attendees watched videos on the day of the event. Going forward, we will continue to prioritize shareholder safety and ease of participation in our general meetings.
A positive response from participants
This was our first ever participatory online general meeting. The feedback from shareholders who observed the meeting was positive. They said the following: "I didn't plan on attending because of the distance involved, but joining online made it easy to observe." and "I had no problem listening and watching, and the broadcast was transmitted clearly. Could future general meetings be held online instead of in person?" We expect to have more online meetings in the future. Shinsho Corporation is considering introducing an attendance format meeting and would like to continue that format into 2022.
