Demand for electric power is increasing, and with that there is growing interest in independent power producers (IPP Projects). One of our business enterprises is supporting the supply of fuel for these new IPP power stations. Shinsho Corporation meets our modern society's demand for raw material resources in a variety of ways. We handle raw materials for steel making including coal, coke, limestone, iron scrap and ferroalloys in blast furnaces. We also supply fuels for IPP power stations. We also work to promote recycling of plastic scrap. Shinsho Corporation is focused on resource development overseas as well. For example, we are involved in an HBI ( hot-briquetted iron ) project in Venezuela, and a coal mining project in Australia, supplying high-quality iron resources to customers worldwide.
